Stemware, Dishes, Copper Pots and Boxes

Been a minute since a brotha last checked in on the blog, but I have been one busy brotha in fact my plate is full right about now, and I am not really complaining just wish that I wasn't doing this alone, hey I have been there before and have had to do it without a significant other, the last time I moved my Boo was right there with me this time I am doing it solo and without the excess bagagge often associated with moving in with a lover...Good Luck!

I found a very nice apartment it is actually a condo, but the developer is having some serious problems selling the units and keeping the bank happy so the new agreement is to rent with option to purchase or sign a lease agreement I have chose the leasing option I have no intentions of buying a place this expensive in Madison, so I will rent it since the opportunity presented itself might as well go for it!

I am really disappointed that I may not be able to attend the Blogger's Reunion, but I am making every effort to attend in fact I am trying to get the boss to allow me to work out of Southeast Region (Washington DC /Virginia)that way I would have the opportunity to visit B-More,currently I am handling the Midwest Region and a change of pace would be good, I have a training session to teach the weekend of the reunion being that this is the only time some employees were willing or able to train on the new system I am obligated to be here since my Regional Director will probably be somewhere playing golf or chasing paper at the casino which means he will not cover for me that weekend. I would really like to be in attendance and just maybe I will be in attendance, if not I will see some of you in Miami or Atlanta during the Memorial Day weekend.

Life in Madison... wow... I spent several holidays with family in Milwaukee, so I can only imagine Madison. I will be back frequently to see how this part of your journey is progressing.

Thanks Nite in Shining Armour, I am certain I will find the new place to be suitable, what will be really nice about it is that the building is pet friendly and centrally located.

Corey Keith thanks for stopping by; you mentioned that you have spent holidays in Milwaukee with family so you can imgaine what Madison is like in fact Milwaukee is where I have to go to if I want to get my party on. I will keep you posted.

Good luck with your move. Those things are a bitch. I hate moving.

I'd love for you to make it. I feel like you'd help keep us grounded. Your posts always help ground me, at least.

I wanted to make it to Atlanta or Miami for Memorial Day, but, well, we'll see. Have for for me though!

Congrats on finding a new place to live. If that's the apartment in the photos, then it looks like some place a brother could have good time living in. A room with a view and with all that it entails.

yeah, I agree with curious. if your complex is the one in the picture, then you're going to live in a beautiful place. I soooooo hope you can make it to the reunion. I never leave your blog feeling stupid, drained, or confused, so that's reason enough to want to meet you. : )

Thanks Chet!!! You always give the best compliments. Please go to africanvibesmagazine.com and vote for MiMi in the model call. I'm trying to raise more awareness for my Rebuilding Sierra Leone campaign. Voters have to sign in though for the vote to count. Don't forget!!! Thanks!!!

Wow!! I love the layout. Moving is a beast and I will be doing the same thing soon myself.

I know you will feel more confident once you move in and may actually love the place.

sorry that we couldn't see you last weekend. There will be other times. Why not organize something for the bloggers in your area? That might be cool... I don't know how many are in that area...

Umm Congrats on the condo... I know movin is a mofo but at least its done and its not in a bad neighborhood (hope the photo isn't misleading!)

Thank you Fuzzy. I too wish that I could have been at the reunion I am certain we will get the opportunity to meet in the very near future.

Yes the new move is a real MOFO, but I have been in and out of town and working that I haven't had much time to do much of anything in the new place and the old place still has stuff in it too. Oh yeah the picture is what it is with the exception of the furniture it is not mine, nor the window creation. I do not do red furniture or all bare floors. Pictures soon.
